As I move though my life, from one day to the next, I cannot help but learn
and as I learn I cannot help but teach,
although my teaching is not always structured, and my learning is seldom formal.
I wrote this as a framing statement for our first assignment, which was to produce a photo-essay of our own learning and teaching contexts. I really enjoyed making this essay, which required me to not only do something creative, but also to think in a creative way about how I learn and teach.
